West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination 2019

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) will be conducted for undergraduate courses in Engineering and Pharmacy by the West Bengal Board. The candidates are able to take admission in Engineering, Technology and Pharmacy courses if they appear and get a rank in both the papers, Paper-I (Mathematics) and Paper-II (Physics and Chemistry combined) while candidates are able to take admission only in pharmacy if they appear and get ranked in Paper-II that are provided at Universities, Government Colleges and Private Colleges of the state. Admissions for Architecture are through NATA and for Medical are through NEET UG. The applicants can fill the form for WBJEE 2019 from Dec 2018 till Jan 2019 and the exam date is due in April 2019 with result being declared on June 2019.

WBJEE Eligibility Criteria 2019

The WBJEE 2019 has different eligibility criteria parameters for every course and they are as follows:-

WBJEE B.Tech
WBJEE 2019 Candidates must hold Indian nationality and his/her age should be 17 or above on Dec31, 2018 without any upper age limit. In case of Marine Engineering Degree course the upper age limit is 25 on Dec 31, 2018. The WBJEE candidate should have completed his 12th from a recognized board on a regular basis with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer Science/Biotechnology/Computer Applications as mandatory subject with minimum of 45%.

WBJEE B.Arch
WBJEE candidates should hold citizenship of India and he/she should be 17 years or above on Dec 31, 2018. The applicant must have passed 12th from a recognized board on a regular basis with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science/Biotechnology/Computer Applications as mandatory subject with minimum 50% marks scored. For WBJEE B.Arch applicant must have qualified either NATA OR Paper-II of JEE Main 2019.

WBJEE B.Pharma
The applicant should be citizen of India with an age of 17 years or above. WBJEE candidate should have completed 12th on a regular basis from a recognized board with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science/Biotechnology/Computer Applications as mandatory subject with minimum aggregate of 45%. The candidate must have scored 30% marks in English in 12th class.

WBJEE Application Form 2019

Candidates appearing for WBJEE 2019 should go through the brochure before filling the application form online. WBJEE 2019 Application Form can be filled from the third week of December 2019 until the third week of January 2019 and the same closing date is applicable for downloading the Confirmation Page. Application Form for WBJEE 2019 needs to be for generating a confirmation page. Applicants are asked to provide their valid phone number and email id as all the information will be sent on it and they must upload their photograph with a scanned image of a signature. The application fee that needs to be paid by the WBJEE candidates is Rs 500.

WBJEE Admit Card 2019

Applicants appearing for WBJEE 2019 need to carry WBJEE Admit Card 2019 along with them as it is very important. Without an admit card, WBJEE candidate cannot take WBJEE Examination. Candidates can download Admit card from the second week of April from the official website online. The WBJEE 2019 admit card will contain details about the roll no. and the allotted exam center so candidates are requested to read the details very carefully. At the time of examination along with admit card, candidates need to carry Id proof such as Aadhar Card/ Passport/ Voter Card/ Pan Card and one photograph.

WBJEE Result 2019

The WBJEE 2019 will declare its result from the first week of June 2019. WBJEE candidates can download and view their result till the last date of admission and counseling by logging in their credentials. The WBJEE Result will be in the form of Rank Card which will display the marks scored by the candidate in WBJEE 2019 to get admission in Engineering, Pharmacy, and Architecture.

WBJEE Counseling 2019

WBJEE 2019 counseling is the most important step towards getting an admission. The qualified applicants of WBJEE 2019 have to attend the counseling where they will be allotted seats which is organized by the board otherwise they will not be given admission. During WBJEE Counseling 2019 verification will be initiated which will continue at the time of admission and registration with University. Only about 10% seats will be allotted through JEE Main 2019 rank.
