West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) will be conducted for undergraduate courses in Engineering and Pharmacy by the West Bengal Board. The candidates are able to take admission in Engineering, Technology and Pharmacy courses if they appear and get a rank in both the papers, Paper-I (Mathematics) and Paper-II (Physics and Chemistry combined) while candidates are able to take admission only in pharmacy if they appear and get ranked in Paper-II that are provided at Universities, Government Colleges and Private Colleges of the state. Admissions for Architecture are through NATA and for Medical are through NEET UG. The applicants can fill the form for WBJEE 2019 from Dec 2018 till Jan 2019 and the exam date is due in April 2019 with result being declared on June 2019.
WBJEE B.Tech
WBJEE 2019 Candidates must hold Indian nationality and his/her age should be 17 or above on Dec31, 2018 without any upper age limit. In case of Marine Engineering Degree course the upper age limit is 25 on Dec 31, 2018. The WBJEE candidate should have completed his 12th from a recognized board on a regular basis with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer Science/Biotechnology/Computer Applications as mandatory subject with minimum of 45%.
WBJEE B.Arch
WBJEE candidates should hold citizenship of India and he/she should be 17 years or above on Dec 31, 2018. The applicant must have passed 12th from a recognized board on a regular basis with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science/Biotechnology/Computer Applications as mandatory subject with minimum 50% marks scored. For WBJEE B.Arch applicant must have qualified either NATA OR Paper-II of JEE Main 2019.
WBJEE B.Pharma
The applicant should be citizen of India with an age of 17 years or above. WBJEE candidate should have completed 12th on a regular basis from a recognized board with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science/Biotechnology/Computer Applications as mandatory subject with minimum aggregate of 45%. The candidate must have scored 30% marks in English in 12th class.
